Currently, the Jamf integration for vScope only allows you to inventory mobile devices, computers alongside their related disks, applications, and file systems as well as their local users in Jamf.
There are several Jamf specific fields that are only available for Jamf assets. These fields have Jamf listed in their name. Below is a list of all general values and Jamf exclusive values available for computers found in Jamf.
Computers
Name – Name of the device.
Model – Model of the device.
Chassis Serial Number – The serial number of the device.
Chassis Manufacturer – The manufacturer of the device.
OS – Operating system for the client device.
OS Version – The version of the operating system.
OS Build – The specific operating system build that the device is running.
OS Type – Lists if the device is a server or client.
MACs – All MAC addresses for the device.
IPv4 – The IPv4 addresses of the machine. Lists both the values in IP Adress & Reported IP Adress which can be found in the General section for a computer in Jamf.
IPv4 Count – Number of IPv4 addresses for the machine.
CPU Sockets – Number of CPU sockets, i.e. processors in the device.
CPU Cores – Total number of CPU cores in the device.
CPU Descriptions – Lists the type of processors used in the device.
RAM – Total amount of RAM in the device.
Installed Applications – All applications installed on the device.
Installed Applications Count – Number of applications installed on the device.
Local Users – All local user accounts on the computer system.
Local Users Count – Number of local user accounts on the computer system.
Jamf Primary MAC Adress – Lists the primary MAC address that can be found in Jamf.
Jamf Secondary MAC Adress – Lists the secondary MAC address that can be found in Jamf.
Jamf Enrollment Date – The date when the device was enrolled in Jamf
Time Since Last Jamf Enrollment – The time since the device was enrolled in Jamf.
Last Jamf Check-in – The date when the device last checked in to Jamf.
Time Since Last Jamf Check-in -The time since the device last checked in to Jamf.
Last Jamf Inventory Update – The date when the inventory of the device was last updated.
Time Since Last Jamf Inventory Update – The time since the inventory of the device was last updated in Jamf.
*Jamf Primary User – The primary user of the device.
*Jamf Primary User Full Name – The full name for the primary user of the device.
*Jamf Primary User Email – The email address to the primary user of the device.
*Do note that these values are taken from the section “Users & Location” on a computer that can be manually edited in Jamf by Jamf admins.
Mobile Devices
Do note that you’ll need the mobile device module in order to inventory mobile devices with vScope.
Name – Name of the device.
Model – Model of the device.
Device Serial Number – The serial number of the device.
Device Carrier – The carrier of the device.
Phone number – The phone number of the device.
IMEI – The “International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI)” of the mobile device.
OS – Operating system for the device.
OS Version – The version of the operating system.
OS Build – The specific operating system build that the device is running.
OS Type – Lists if the device is a server, client, or mobile device.
MACs – All MAC addresses for the device.
IPv4 – The IPv4 addresses of the device.
Jamf Enrollment Date – The date when the device was enrolled in Jamf.
Time Since Last Jamf Enrollment – Time that has passed since the device was enrolled in Jamf.
Last Jamf Inventory Update – The date when the inventory of the device was last updated.
Time Since Last Jamf Inventory Update – The time since the inventory of the device was last updated in Jamf.
*Jamf Primary User – The primary user of the device.
*Jamf Primary User Full Name – The full name for the primary user of the device.
*Jamf Primary User Email – The email address to the primary user of the device.
*Do note that these values are taken from the section “Users & Location” on a computer that can be manually edited in Jamf by Jamf admins.
Local User Accounts on Jamf Computers
Name – The name of the local user account
Full Name – The full name of the user account.
Access to Machine – The devices which the account can access, local user accounts can only access the devices they are residing on.
Domain – The domain of the local user account, i.e the device it can be found on.
Type – Can either be Local or Domain.
Physical Disks for Jamf Computers
These fields need to be added via Tag Manager –> Created from Discovery —> +Create Tag —> Jamf
Name – The name of the disk
Size – The total size of the disk
Number of Partitions – The total number of partitions on the disk.
System -The device that the physical disk is mounted on.
Model -The model of physical disk
File Systems for Jamf Computers
These fields need to be added via Tag Manager –> Created from Discovery —> +Create Tag —> Jamf
Name – The name of the file system. File systems on the same system can have identical names.
Root – The root of the file system.
System: The device that the file system is mounted on.
Total – The total size of the disk
Used – The total size of the file system that is being used.
Usage Ratio – The percentage of the total file system that is being used.
Encryption Status – True if the file system is encrypted.
