vScope needs a valid license to fully function. The licenses are distributed via the License account service (you can access via http://account.vscope.net), and your vScope installation will automatically connect and confirm its existence so it receives a valid license.
When the vScope installation isn’t able to reach the License account service, you will need to activate your vScope installation manually by uploading a license file locally on the vScope server.
Download your vScope license
- Go to http://account.vscope.net/login
- Sign in with your corresponding credentials (notice that this is a separate account than the vScope account)
- Go to the Licenses tab
- You’ve found it! The “Download License” button to the right will provide you with the license file that you then upload to the vScope server
